SUNLORD to support CAVALERA BROTHERS

 

New York band SUNLORD that is currently on tour supporting DESTRUCTION and label mates NERVOSA is set to support also to Max & Iggor Cavalera on their ‘Return Beneath Arise’ tour on Sunday May 22nd at the historic Sunshine Theater in Albuquerque, NM.

Frontman Alfonzo Ferrara commented:

“Let me tell you about this one ....on May 22, at the Sunshine theater, Albuquerque, Sunlord will open up one of the greatest thrash metal events ever put together.

The Cavalera brothers are Sepultura, the best there is if you ask me.

Destruction is one of the best bands on earth, completely unadulterated thrash.

The Nervosa metal goddesses shall bewitch the crowd.

TORTURER release 'Kingdom of the dark' official video

 

Chilean Death Thrash metal band TORTURER have unleashed the music video for their track 'Kingdom of the dark' in commemoration of the 30 years anniversary of its released. Watch the official video below:

Frontman Francisco Cautín commented: 

'May is a very special month in the Torturer's camp. We have turned 33 years old and what best way to celebrate it with the music video for our classic track that started it all. Kingdom of the dark shows our philosophy with a newer sound and an unbeatable image through the lenses of Under Films. We will be always pushing up the metal flag toward the highest.

Torturer is currently working on a new studio album which will be titled 'Burning Cross'. The new album is set to be launched via Australis Records in Chile during the second half of 2022. This material consistsIn a re-recording of your previous work 'Burning Cross' originally published in 2003, plus other rarities and an updated sound in terms of production.

'Burning Cross' was produced by Pablo Gudiño, who have already worked with the band in its previous studio albums, 'Conjuro IV' (2017) and the homonymous 'Torturer' (2012), at the Torture Chamber Studio. The art work was crated by Productora Medu1a, who have been recognized in the Chilean media for their graphic work in the past with the work for bands such as Kuervos del Sur and Crisalida.

New York City band SUNLORD have released a live video for the track 'Like A Champion' from Montreal show at Foufounes Electriques on 04/30/2022. The track that comes off their self-released album '222'. The videos were recorded by TeamMontrealMetal in Canadian and edited by Promusicvideo in NYC.

"We were very happy to finally get into Canada and do our job for them . Great shows ,specially Montreal, incredible crowd . The band is delivering night after night , we have been to Pennsylvania and Ohio and we are heading to Detroit as I type this . This is the best metal tour out there this year and people gotta come out cause Destruction puts on a top knot h performance , better than  most on this earth . I gotta ad this is a really hot line up I put together for Sunlord and it might just be my favorite to this day ."

Ferrazza commented: "Vigilante is a song that encompasses two of my favorite music styles , it's got NY Hardcore and thrash metal , Agnostic Front meets Exodus . The lyric goes w the times as it is a pro 2nd amendment song about protecting your family and dispensing death to those who threaten our lives or our homes or our loved ones".
